I recently bought a puppy and everything looked ok when I saw the place but now Im a little concerned. Puppy is healthy and everything but Id like to know information about the mom and dad aka dam and sire. I have papers to register my puppy with the American Canine Association- hes a boxer. How do I find out the info on his parents. I have their registration numbers too. Thanks
OK never thought I would get THOSE answers with a purebred dog. Should have added more info- you people attack everyone dont you. Yes I did see the mom and dad and the place he was born the home the other puppies etc. I researched alot before I bought the puppy and called her references. She also showed me the blood work from the vet/vet check info and info from the past year, and the AKC registration or certificate whatever you call it. The form she gave me was from ACA but she said he could be registered AKC. I was just curious into looking into his family tree to see if there were possibly any problems I could prevent before they happened. As I know with big dogs they are already prone to hip and joint problems. Just want to keep my healthy puppy healthy. Did I mention the vet did tests too not just a listen and feel and ok youre pups healthy… oh ya I didnt. Well he is and you people should really stop attacking everyone and anyone that asks a dog question…
Also Im not looking for a show dog. I love boxers had one as a kid and wanted one now that Im older. So I wasl ooking for a PET not a PETIGREE or show dog!
